The 2016 Board of Directors voted to change the draft rules in each division

NEW POLICY REGARDING TEAM FORMATION AND DRAFT
The 2016 Board of Directors voted to modify the draft rules in each division. This will affect how teams get formed and who needs to tryout. An explanation of these changes is summarized below.

T-Ball Division:  Teams are allowed to freeze 3 players. Teams stay together each year as players return to the T-Ball team they played on last season. However you now may elect at sign up and request to not return to your previous years team and instead return to the draft. Players that are league age 4 years old do not have to try-out and are welcomed to play with a team of their choosing by request, or will be randomly assigned to a team at the draft. Players that are league age 5 & 6 must tryout to be drafted or frozen if they are not returning to their last years team, or if they wish to be released from last years team and return to the draft.

Pee Wee, Minor & Major Divisions: Teams are now allowed to freeze 5 players. At the conclusion of the season all players must be returned back to the draft and will not continue with their previous years team unless they are re-frozen to that team.  All players must try-out in order to be drafted or frozen. If your player does not try-out he or she will be randomly assigned through a hat pick at the conclusion of the player draft. This policy is in a evaluation period through the 2016 and 2017 season and will be voted on again at the conclusion of the 2017 season for the 2018 season. All players return to the draft this season and will be redrafted or frozen to a new team.

Pony Division: Teams are now allowed to freeze 5 players. At the conclusion of the season all players must be returned back to the draft and will not continue with their previous years team unless they are re-frozen to that team by the manager.  All players must try-out in order to be drafted or frozen. If your player does not try-out he or she will be randomly assigned through a hat pick at the conclusion of the player draft. This policy is in effect permanently for this division.
